The vag

So guys I'm 16 and I've started taking notice of my downstairs. My mum doesn't tell me much about 'womanly issues' so everything I've learnt I've got from sex Ed classes in school. But one thing I'm not sure of is how to take care of it.

My downstairs smells...funky. and I don't know how to change this. I've heard not to douche it when you shower or bath...but then what can I do?

It bugs me a lot because I know that no boy is ever gonna wanna go near me when my vag smells less than desirable.
