Just told my sister-in-law the news
She's now the only person who knows other than my husband. I just couldn't keep it a secret anymore. We spent a good part of the morning together, and I was feeling sick and kind of emotional. Then i just spilled the beans lol! I'm glad I've told someone. I called my husband right away and let him know k told her and he understood, he laughed at me because I felt guilty for telling his sister and he wasn't there.
We are telling my family in 2 weeks while we're on vacation, and then his family in 3 weeks on the 4th of July.
I'm still high risk for miscarriage so we have decided to wait until after my 7 week scan to tell more people, not because we feel it's some big secret we shouldn't share, but because word gets around fast in our family, and we have a young child who is eager to be a big brother, and the fear that something could happen is enough that we don't want him to know until I am no longer considered high risk, which will be determined by the heart rate we hopefully hear next week. 💕
This journey is so crazy. I bawled my eyes out telling my SIL, and now that somebody knows, other than DH, it does feel a little bit more real. :)
