Do you still consider yourself a mom if you miscarry a baby early on or have a ectopic pregnancy? Just wondering because in August I had a ruptured ectopic pregnancy and even though I never saw or held my baby I knew I was pregnant from the start. No harsh comments please just trying to see how other people view this!

I had a miscarriage, and no I do not consider myself a mother. I never had a sonogram, never delivered a child, and never raised a child. Therefore I'm not a mother. I miscarried in my first trimester. I didn't lose a baby, I passed a bunch of cells that my body expelled for whatever reason.

I delivered a boy at 19 weeks I still concider him my child if I didn't have 2 other children I would still concider myself a mother

Yes, I believe any miscarried baby has a soul, no matter when the miscarriage happened.  Angel babies are still your babies. ❤️❤️

I haven't conceived, but if I did have a miscarriage, I would still consider myself a mother.  In my eyes, a baby is a baby from the day you conceive.  I know not everyone sees it this way, but this is my opinion.  I wish you luck trying to conceive.  ☺

Absolutely! The baby I lost at 6 weeks in the womb most certainly made me a mom! My hubby was kind enough to remember me this past Mother's Day even though we don't have any living children :)

My first pregnancy was a blighted ovum missed miscarriage. I did not consider myself a mother after that.
