Baby shower etiquette?

What's the expected baby shower etiquette? I'm a FTM 13w6d, do I just wait until someone throws me one? How does all of this work?

Yes, the proper etiquette is for you to wait until someone offers. If multiple people offer, you can decide whether you'd like multiple smaller parties or whether you'd like the hostesses to share responsibilities for one large party.

13 weeks is rather early in my opinion. I'm having two showers and they are 32 and 34 weeks (pregnant).
Traditionally people offer but you there isn't anything wrong with you doing your own.

People might offer but then again they might not. I am planning my own cause I want things done a certain way as well i want to pay for my own and not have someone else pay for it ☺don't think there's an "etiquette." Just follow what most of your friends have done in the past! No one knows your circle more than you

FTM here as well and I just let my family know I was going to have my baby shower on this date and everyone started saying they wanted to be in charge of this or get this and that and next thing you know my siblings, mother, and mil all throw me a babyshower. I only paid for my invitations. You could wait until someone offers but you never know how long it could be until someone does. You could always ask if anyone would be willing to help you throw one and maybe someone will just offer to do it for you.

Not too sure, but I'm throwing my own. It'll be co-Ed because I wanted it to my SO and I's babyshower and not just mine. I figured my mom and MIL can help me out if they'd like with ideas and planning 😊 I could always use the help I just prefer to be in charge and not have them spend all the money.
