How often do you clean your house?

My husbands #1 complaint is how much I clean. I clean really good once a week and pick up through the week. Sometimes there are just things that need to be cleaned really good more than once a week.

I grew up with a mother who owns a cleaning service and grandparents with a cleaning service. So our home was usually really clean at all times. My husband grew up in a home where his mother made excuses not to clean and there house was and still is a disgusting mess.

So my husband thinks I clean too much because of his up bringing and I don't see anything wrong with it. Just trying to show him that it's okay to live in a clean home and it's not too much.

There's nothing wrong with cleaning a lot. It is something you grew up with, and he should shut up and be grateful he doesn't live in a dump.

I vacuum several times a week,  I've got two dogs that love shedding.  I do laundry, dusting, bathroom things like that once a week.  Dishes /kitchen every day.  I can't stand dishes dirty in my sink

I don't like to clean and my SO doesn't either, but having clutter  around gets me moody so I force myself to clean lol. I've seen so many friends home that look like a tornado has been through it several times lol so I think of myself as really clean person.

Everyday, twice a day. No I'm not supper messy, but I have 5 kids two dogs and a cat as well as a husband lol. There is always something out of place and it irks me to have an out of order living room and a dirty kitchen so dishes are done ASAP as well as counters cleaned off after dinner.

My house is small & has zero storage options, so even one little thing out of place makes it look unorganized.

I vacuum 2-3 times a week, 1-2 times laundry, 1 day deep cleaning.

I tidy home a few times a day, empty dishwasher in the morning and fill it whole day.

And i cook every day. 😕

This is great! My husband is the exact same, I love a clean house and he thinks my level is clean is extreme and I don't need to do it as much. However mine only complains when I ask for help, other than that he's happy to enjoy a clean home.

I personally do it because I can't stand messes and gross bathrooms really creep me out!! I cringe when I walk into his sisters bathrooms Gahhh.

Anyways I feel like I'm always cleaning we have a large house and it's never ending. Some things get done every day like laundry and dishes other things once a week and some once every couple weeks.

I pick stuff up everyday and then usually once a week do a big clean.
