Ready or not?

How many of you have everything you need for when baby gets here? I haven't begun to get anything! I am honestly waiting for my baby shower (July 30) I will be 36w then. I just don't want to buy things that others will get me and it be a waste of money.

Just had our baby shower Sunday and I'm feeling much more relaxed now. We have a great church family and they really provided us with just about everything we need. Still some things to get obviously, but it feels more manageable now.

We made sure to get all the big stuff; we didn't want to count on people getting us things we needed at the shower and be left high and dry... Good thing too, cause all we got were clothes and a few miscellaneous items!

I'm a Shopaholic so I have practically everything I need....baby shower is July 3rd and on July 4th I will buy whatever I still need lol....due Aug 10th

I see, yeah I don't want to count on them either... We already have the crib and stroller/car seat... We will buy a few more things soon... I guess clothes is the main thing you get at a baby shower. Lol

I'm waiting for my shower as well which is the 23rd of July, but it's driving me crazy. I too want to see what I get first before I go crazy. What I did do as if recently was start buying pampers of different sizes.

I have not bought a single thing yet due to hitting a financial snag but I know through family I will be getting a double stroller for my baby and my youngest daughter and a crib and it's a guarantee I will get a million and a half diapers lol but we have recently started putting money aside for after the shower so we can get whatever else we need. But waiting until the shower is killing me because I hate feeling unprepared but I don't want to have doubles lol

We have all the big items from family (shower gifts they just sent us early) and my husband and I bought a bunch of clothes in amazing condition from resale sites and stuff.  I only put stuff on my registry that we NEED. Bath soaps, bath tub, carrier, nursing cover... random stuff like that, that we could easily go get ourselves later if need be. I wanted to have the necessities early just in case (car seat, crib, bassinet, stroller....)

I got a lot of stuff but I need more stuff. I been buying a little here and a little there. Most importantly I got all the big things (crib, car seat, stroller, breast pump, etc.).
They need so much stuff!
