Do you think its important to teach your child manners and to respect other adults?

I see so many kids even kids in my family who are not taught proper manners or to be respectful to other adults. This really bothers me what do you think?

Absolutely. Kids are so rude. When I was a kid we had to use manners always or we'd be in trouble.

Yes yes yes!!! You won't get very far in life by being rude to everyone. My little girl always says please and Thankyou and if ever she forgets I make sure to tell her or else she doesn't get what it is she's asked for etc ❤️

My daughter is 3 now, she was a preemie and she knows: please, thank you ,excuse me,I'm sorry, she knows not to run around all wild and crazy. (In the house) and she picks up her puppies poop because she knows it's her responsibility.  She's pretty smart for just barely turning 3 in may:)♡

It seems like a dumb questions but I bet some of the people who voted yes have/will have  kids with no manners. Some ppl swear their kids are well behaved but their actually not. Its like when it comes to their child they have rose colored glasses and think their child does no wrong.

Thats the most important thing for us. My hubby and I want our children to be respectful and nice in first place and then we want them to be able to think for themselves like we dont want them to agree with everything people say, maybe not even with us but we want them to have their own opinions and share them with others without being disrespectful or rude. We want them to fully accept people and tolorate and love everyone and know whats important in life for example to appreciate what they have, dude they're growing up in the hollywood hills, my husband and I worked our asses up here and we want them to know not everyone has this chance so we want them to give people something back and help others. 
After that the rest can come if its their religion or whatever, we're not religious we do follow a religion tho but we wont tell them anythng about religion until they ask us and wether they wanna be muslim or christian or buddhist or satanist or atheist or whatever we will support them.
It does work out really good until now, our son is 5 and just really a very loving and caring little boy and he'd very smart for his age we're incredibly proud of him. I'm not saying that because I'm his mom (hell I didnt even give birth to him) but I raised him so and he's so amazing I can just hope the others will be like him as well.
