● growth spurts usually occur around 1, 3 and 6 weeks of age, but can happen at any time.

● During a growth spurt your baby will eat almost constantly for 1 to 3 days and sometimes up to a week.

● your body will respond to the frequent feedings by making more milk

● avoid giving your baby foods other than breastmilk. If you give your baby other foods, such as formula, juice, water, or cereal you will make less milk.
