Is it wrong to go to a graduation celebration with baby , when there will be drinking and music ?

I have a five month old and my little sister is having a graduation party tonight at a hall. There will be food , drinks , music. My boyfriend don't want me to go because I'll have to bring the baby , but plenty of children will be there. Its a family get together , I won't be drinking. Am I wrong for wanting to go , I don't have anyone to watch baby because everyone will be at the party lol. Would you go ?
