Are condoms really THAT bad?😂

So my body is really too messed up at the moment for me to be on a pill, so my fiancé and I resort to condoms. But the other day, he said something that kind of disappointed me:(
" I can feel the love so much more when we don't use condoms. I can feel you so much better and it feels so more natural, I can feel that you trust me more when we don't have one, like we have a better bond."

I feel so aweful because now if we have sex with a condom, I know he won't like it as much, but without a condom and I'll have a horrible fear and anxiety of being pregnant for weeks, and that's assuming I wouldn't be pregnant, lol.

It just really sucks knowing that the only way for me to have anxiety free sex is if he doesn't enjoy it that much ;( idk, I just wanted to share feelings with you guys, sucks to be a girl trying to protect herself😔

Talk to him about the consequences and how you feel, but I know my boyfriend said that to me but he bought a different brand of condom and is completely happy with our sex life 👌🏼

He is being unfair to expect you to take that risk or have to use hormonal contraception- there are dozens of types of condoms and ones that have a much more natural feel- get a range of them and he will have to use the one that he feels least prohibits him- or no sex. Trust me once he knows that you won't take the pill and its condoms or nothing then he will use a condom. Most guys don't like them as such but they will dislike a hormonal pregnant girlfriend or a screaming baby much less if it was not the intended plan. See how much sex he gets if that happens!

I think that is totally fair to tell him. He may feel closer to you without one, but you are able to enjoy the intimacy of sex without anxiety with them. Instead of focusing on the worry you'll get pregnant, condoms let you focus on the experience with him. It's okay that he likes feeling you and close to you, but it's important that he also understand your position and not guilt you for it.
