Does anyone's else's dads not come to see your child after you've had him? I had my son an hour away for our home and my dad didn't come to the hospital to meet him.. Then when we get home he never came over to meet him... He lives 10 mins away... Finally my son was three weeks old and I had to beg him to come over, he stayed for 20 mins. He has never texted or called or tried to make contact since. Now my son is 3 months old and he calls my finance to see if he could come over Saturday. He can't even talk to me. I'm getting married at the end of July and I can't bring myself to want my dad to walk me down the aisle just because he seems to have no interest in my son his freakin grand child does anyone else have this problem with there parents after they had a child?  My mom lives over 15 hours away and she calls weekly and drove down here to watch her grandchild be born. I can't comprehend how my dad just doesn't care.
