Dating as a single mom

I've started dating again, but I've been so discouraged at how it's been. I only seem to attarct the type of men I don't want around my daughter, for example uneducated, drinking and partying a lot.. Don't care about the future etc. It makes me feel like I give off a bad impression of myself? I'm going to school for a bachelors in science hopefully to get into dental school but no educated man wants nothing with me :/
