Homeless cats

So a couple months ago I found two homeless cats who were hungry and begging for attention so I took them home and well I can no longer take care of them considering the fact I'm just a teen. Anyways, their owner seemed to abandon them and I have no idea where they came from, so what can I do to get them out my hands? I don't wanna drop them in the streets, I want them to have a safe home, I tried making announcements on social media but no one wants the cats, is there another alternative?
