Multiples??

It was a faint positive. Went to the doctor nov 4th. Was a positive. Went a week later for a sonogram, and they said they saw a possible sac, but no baby. Went to the hospital a week later with severe headaches, dizziness and extreme nausea. Diagnosed with hyperemisis. They did an hcg and another sono.. She detected a fetal pole.. And my hcg was abnormally high. So they ordered another one two days later. And it went up, but didn't double. My doctor said he wanted to see me asap. And that it's one of two things, a missed conception or multiples just really early.. I'm so confused.. I haven't had any spotting or bad cramps and my belly is strong bigger.. So?? 

Anyone else go thru this?
