Is it safe to color hair during pregnancy?

Hello all, I was wondering if hair color is safe for baby , my roots look awful! Any idea?

Doc said wait until the second trimester and then just make sure it's a well ventilated room. He said highlights and lowlights were preferred for minimum contact with the scalp, but root touch ups won't be the end of the world.

As long as you do it ina well ventilated room you should be fine i think the main reason its not suggested is your hormones may make the color a little wonky

After 18 weeks yes ma'am! I am a licensed cosmetologist have been for 6 years I always tell my clients they at least have to be in their 2trimester!:)
