Cold medicine? Need advice!

I'm going on 11 weeks tomorrow and I have come down with a cold. I'm not sure what cold medicine I would be able to take for relief and my Dr isn't open today. I'm miserable with cough, chest congestion, and my nose hurts so bad. Any advice would be great! Even natural remedies until I can reach my Dr would be greatly appreciated. I'm going on very little sleep also and it's all taking a toll. 😷🤒😔

I know my mum got a really nasty cold when pregnant with my brother. I believe she took Tylenol (she took the lowest dose so like 1 tablet every 6hrs instead of 2 pills every 6hrs). I would still check with your doctor because everyone is different and there could be a better medication available for you. I do know that DayQuil and NightQuil are a big no though.

My mom took childrens tylonol(sp?) when pregnant with my youngest sister a while back.

I had that a few times so far this pregnancy (I'm a kindergarten teacher). They told me to take benedryl at night and robitussin DM. I also use a neti pot and within a few days I'm good!
Id still put a call in for your doctor but I know those 2 medicines are safe. Feel better!

Thank you ladies! I will look into all these. Nurse line recommended I go to urgent care but to pay a large amount for a dr to tell me use Vicks and a humidifier I can do that myself. I think some hot honey tea would help too. So it's gonna be a day of rest for this momma to be.
