I was talking to a girl yesterday and she has had two c sections and was telling me that for the first one she had they drugged her up so much that for the whole first day she was barely able to move and even hold her daughter . And the reasoning was is the Drs do it to relieve the first time mom jitters . I am not 100% sure yet if I will have to have a scheduled one (waiting on another sonogram due to placenta placement ) but if this is my only option are you allowed to opt out of all the extra drugs that would make me comatose. I am already not a fan of having to be numbed considering I wanted to have a vaginal birth with no epidural but I know they will do what's necessary to make sure me and my daughter are ok . I just don't want to be drugged to the max !!!
