7 months old with chicken pox

My child has chicken pox I was up all night when him when he was crying to clam him down and give him love. He has a high fever up to 104 when I give him tyonel it goes down to 103 but not lower than that can I give him Motrin to keep his temp away? His blisters aren't too bad like ok worried for his fever. I'll be calling the doctor soon. Please be nice I don't need to hear any smart mouths right now if u never had a child with chicken pox then don't reply. Thanks!
