Fighting the Munchies when dieting??

So for those who enjoy a little MJ how do you control the Munchies on a diet... I started using a tincture this week but also started meal preping not to long ago. I can follow my meal prep when I don't use the tincture but even 2 drops will do it for me and I go straight for the snacks. I really want to follow this meal plan to the T but I would also like to still be able to use marijuana to manage my stress, I prefer it much more than the alternative which is Xanax.
