Diaper bag essentials?

Okay I'm talking about for the hospital... I have blankets, onesies, pants, a sleeper, pacifiers, mittens, socks, hats, a bib, wipes, diapers, pacifier wipes, what am I missing? If anything haha. Still have to pack my bag

I am bringing a nursing cover in case I have visitors and a breastfeeding pillow which I consider essential when having a csection...which I am. Honestly, I would t worry about the paci, paci wipes, diapers and wipes. Most hospitals send you home with diapers wipes and a paci.

Quick question, why are you taking so much for baby's diaper bag while you're at the hospital? You only really need a light blanket and going home outfit. Baby is kept swaddled mostly at the hospital and they should provide you with diapers and wipes....

Def a Boppy pillow if you plan on breastfeeding. I wouldn't bother with diapers, (my hospital doesn't supply wipes so u might need those), you def don't need passy wipes, as those are worthless anyway, and full of chemicals. Mittens I personally don't use, as babies need to be able to have access to their hands. I would bring nail clippers or an infant file. I only bring 1 blanket, as things get stained very easily at hospital I don't mind outfits getting stained but I don't want my organic cotton blankets getting stained with meconium, iodine, blood, or anything else that comes out of me and baby haha. I also bring my own baby wash, wash clothes, and towel for baby as we don't use Johnson and Johnson products.
