Confess: What was your most embarrassing moment while trying to talk to a guy or get a guys attention??

My most embarrassing moment (that I can think of) when I was single and trying to get a guys attention isn't as bad as it could have been but still bad lol. So I was in McDonald's drive thru with a friend in the passenger seat. I started order our food and just happened to look in my side view mirror and noticed a truck behind me with this guy low key staring at me who also had a friend in the passenger seat. Of course the line was super long and slow so we shared a few smiles and stares at each other and I look at my friend and said "You know that guy is really cute!" so as I approached the window I asked the cashier for a blank piece of paper and I wrote my number down. No name just said "If your single text me." I gave it to the cashier and asked her to give it to the driver behind me. She laughed and said she would. I got my food and left. About 15minutes later I got a text that said "Hey Brittany" and I said "Who is this?" and he said "The guy from the drive thru" and and I was like "How do you know my name?" thinking the cashier knew me or something. His response floored me. "Because its Jesse, we used to talk like 6 months ago!" I was like omg!!! I had rejected this guy because he was clingy and just seemed like he wanted to rush things so I told him I wanted to slow down and I would message him when I thought it was better timing. I was so embarrassed. Something I thought was cute went horribly wrong. He looked nothing like him self, he had on a hat, grew a beard, had gauges and even had a different truck lol. So I was mind blown to say the least. I have yet to give out my number to "strangers" lol
