Not married yet?

Question

Anyone here not married yet? Got engaged may 7, was trying to enjoy my engagement without feeling pressure, and not moving forward with plans u til recently. Found out I got pregnant around May 22, so 7 weeks along now. Fiancé is pushing to get married in 2 weeks. Am I wrong for wanting to wait? I want a wedding! He's all about being married for the baby, and I get that, but we still live @ home and are looking to purchase a home. Which I feel is more important than the marriage. Any advice?

The same thing is happening with me... All these people are wanting us to get a shotgun wedding and we're only 19 and 20 and live at home. He's okay with it but for my own sake I want to wait. It's your choice too so you need to do what's comfortable for YOU.

I got engaged last Christmas Eve and we never had a set date for when we wanted to get married. He has brought it up that maybe we should get married before the baby comes, I'm 22w now, but I feel absolutely zero need to rush. He hasn't pushed it either. We live together on our own but we want to focus on getting things for our baby and enjoying the pregnancy instead of stressing over a wedding.
I don't think it's a bad thing to wait. Plus you'll have a cute baby in your wedding :)

Just sit him down and explain there is no rush. A documented piece of paper isn't going to change how you feel, how he feels, and how that baby feels about you both. Express how you feel and that you want to hold off on the wedding, but assure him that you are still 100% you want to marry him because maybe he is just worried?

I got engaged shortly before I found out we were expecting. My fiancé wanted to get married quickly because of the baby, but I said no way. A baby is not a good reason to get married or rush a wedding. We haven't even set a date yet, because I want to focus on the baby. If you aren't ready, don't let him talk you in to it!

I've been engaged for awhile and we were planning to get married last summer but it didn't work out with the venue. Then I found out I am pregnant and we decided it would just be smarter to go to the town hall make it legal and worry about the "ceremony" at a later time. I also started to think about the ceremony as being more of accomplishment if we were to do it in 5 yrs time as a celebration for the milestone rather than "newly weds"

I got engaged and then soon after found out I was pregnant.. I'm getting married at 31 weeks... (Currently 27) 
MIL is upset that we weren't married already when we got pregnant and doesn't want our daughter to grow up and find out we weren't married when she was born.... I quite frankly wouldn't mind waiting until after.. But she's paying for it all so I just have to get over it and be thankful..
