Getting pregnant after your husband underwent chemo

I've posted on another board several times to see if anyone had any PERSONAL(please don't quote anything off any internet site I've seen and read all of it) information and have gotten nothing. My husband just finished chemo and we were told to wait a month by his oncologist and my OBGYN. Has anyone gone through this or have any stories of friends who have? Any information would help. Thank you.
