What would you call this?

So I recently broke up with my boyfriend of a year and a half. I was done being naive and stupid after he cheated on me ten times (yes, I know, I wasn't very smart with keeping him around). Let me tell you the reason why I stayed. Throughout our relationship, he would always tell me what to wear, how to do my hair, and would shame me for what I ate. He would also pressure me into doing sexual favors for him, even if I told him no. He used the "if you really loved me you'd do this" tone. I'm worried that if people find out that we were sexual (never actual sex) together, I would be thought of as a whore, even though he was my first boyfriend. But back to the pressuring and telling me what to do, what would you call this? The first thing coming to my mind is emotional abuse.
