Can anyone explain why my puppy keeps doing this? She follows me everywhere staring deep into my eyes, she always looks at me and waits on a cue or for me to say something and when i stop walking around/doing chores, she drops to the floor on her back?

Its adorable , it really is. But i cant help but question this behaviour?? Is it pure love? Is she insecure? Is unsure about me? Or worse, scared of me? Isn't this an act of submission????

That sounds like submissive behaviour to me or possibly she's just bonding with you. Was she taken from her mother too young? If she was it's very common for puppies to form bitch-pup bonds with their owner. It could cause issues like separation anxiety in the future. Or it could just be a submissive behaviour and she sees you as the dominant member of the pack and wants to please you. I'd allow the behaviour by if it starts causing any issues (inappropriate urination, destructive behaviours when you aren't home, etc) then I'd talk to tie vet about ways to help her be more confident on her own.

She wants affection. She also seems ready and willing to receive a command. Yorkies are incredibly smart and their minds need to be worked. They love mental stimulation. Give her tricks, games etc to do she will eat it up.
