Endometriosis??

Hi! My name is Melisa and I'm 24 years old and recently was told by my doctor I have Endometriosis. I've never had any health issues until now so it's a little scary for me. Me and my husband have been trying to get pregnant again and unfortunately in February we had a miscarriage and are still struggling with getting pregnant. Just want any advice from women who have this or have gone through this because I feel like I'm just ready to give up?

I was told almost a year ago I had endo. After months of hurting my doctor decided to do surgery. He went in and cleaned out the endo as best as he could. 2 months later and I'm pregnant. It might be something to consider talking to your doctor about.

23 and have stage 3/4 endometriosis. Going through the same thing currently which is why I even came on here searching for posts about endometriosis.

The only way to know for sure if you have endometriosis is if the doctor does a laparoscopy.  It's an outpatient surgery where they can look inside your abdomen and see if you have endometrial tissue growing outside of your uterus. If you do they can then clean it up during the same procedure. Depending on where the endometriosis is growing and the severity it could cause problems getting pregnant,  however it does not always.  The majority of women with endo get pregnant without any problems or get pregnant after a laparoscopy. There are medications you can get on to stop the endometriosis from growing.  Sometimes the scaring can cause damage to your fallopian tubes, ovaries, etc which can then make if difficult to get pregnant. But again,  the only way to know is through a laparoscopy.

I had a laparoscopy April 2015 because of suspected endo, found out I have stage 2 and both of my fallopian tubes are completely blocked.  I went through IVF, and just gave birth to beautiful twins April 9th of this year.

I never gone through this but my best friend has serve endometriosis and she has two healthy sons. Don't give up it might take a little bit longer but try not to stress to much.
