Castor oil

I have borderline high blood pressure, and my midwife said I should do some research about castor oil. She said if I want to take it and try a natural induction before the problem gets worse I am allowed to take it. If it goes over 90 tho I will be getting induced at the hospital. I am 39 weeks today, but I want to have your opinion also, has any one had good or bad experiences with castor oil.. please share your experiences. I am so up in the air about it..

My midwife said she is willing to wait for the baby to come, but if my blood pressure does go over 140/90 I will be getting blood work and induced..
