Circumcision ?

I just read a post on Fcbk and the lady on the post said she's getting the money together for her sons circumcision, is it even possible to know your baby needs to be circumcised before he's born ???? She has yet to have him and she already knows he needs to be circumcised ? 🤔

You can decide whether you want your son circumsized or not before birth.. It's not a medical thing where they only do it on certain cases, if you ask to have him circumsized they will they say after he's born I believe. I don't even know if I'm having a son but I know if it is a boy he will be circumsized.

As soon as my son was born I got him circumsised and with this one I'll be getting him circumsised but it didn't cost me anything because of insurance.

I had my son circumcised when he was born. No complications. And the healing was super easy when they're that little. Didn't have to do much.

I think maybe I'm reading your post wrong which is making me confused. Does she not know if she's having a boy yet? Then I understand the confusion. But if she knows she's having a boy and knows she wants to have him circumcised then yeah it's weird she's asking other people for money for it, but of course she knows that already. You usually have that decision made long before the baby is born. I knew my son would be circumcised before I was even pregnant with him.

All boys in my family are circ'ed. I'm having a girl but if she was a boy the circumcision would happen before we leave the hospital.
