Boyfriend shuns me

I got an epidural last night because my contractions were unbearable. My boyfriend said I was dumb for getting it and I ruined his expierience. He didn't like seeing me all on drugs but I think it was just from the pain medicine it made me sleepy and feel sick the epidural really helped me. I feel bad but he's trying to make me feel like my labor wasn't real or something.
