Hello Ladies! Are there any other single moms here?

Hi everyone, my name is Sami :) I am 29 years old, a first time mommy and a single mom. I wanted to start this sub group so that I can find some more support and hopefully help support any other single moms who may or may not be first-time mommies also.

first time mom and a single mom! the baby daddy has only seen her 4 times in the past month for 45 minutes at a time. he's not on the birth certificate so he thinks he has no obligation to be around. 🙄 not that I mind all that much, just means more time with my baby! eventually he'll get visitation rights, but he's already said he's not going to fight me for more than standard visitation and I'll fight that it doesn't happen until she's a year old. he did some realllllll shitty things while I was pregnant, and even since I've had her he's done some. he says he's too busy to see her more than he does when he goes to a trampoline place and plays basketball with his friends all the time. 🙄 like ok "too busy" my ass. he drank (underage) while I was pregnant, said he doesn't need her like I do and he can live without her but I can't, said he was really sad all the time then dyed his hair bleach blonde and then said he felt like he was going to die soon, said he wanted a DNA test (so why would I put him on the birth certificate?? 🙄).. I have so much crap on him it's sad. I'm disappointed that the man I once loved with every inch of my life could do this to me and my daughter. it's been the hardest thing I've gone through, but I love being a single mom. if you read all of this I'm super glad! I would love to participate in this group if you create it! it may help when he's frustrated me beyond what Twitter or texting my friends can help 😂

Just wanted to chime in and say congrats! I was a single mom with my first so I know the challenges. Grass isn't greener on the other side though... I totally hate sharing my baby and side eye her dad every time he has her like "give me back my baby" haha.

Hello! I am a first time mom as well. I'm going thorough a divorce. My estranged has only seen our son twice 😕. Power to us and everyone other mama that's out here doing it on her own!!!
