How bad does a Brazilian was hurt?

I have always shaved but their are spots I can't see and I hate the razor burn or rash afterwards. Is it better than shaving and on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad does it hurt?!

I waxed for a summer a few years ago. The first time definitely hurt the worst. I can't remember enough to actually rate it but I do know it hurt. Main reason I stopped though was money lol it's cheaper to shave for me haha. I loved it though. It's sore after and red for a day but I may just have extra sensitive skin. I'd say try it if you're curious though :]
