What happens if you don't stop sucking on your pacifier

(I'm sorry for the blurry pic but) MOTHERS!! This is what happens when your child doesn't stop sucking on their thumb/pacifier for an extended period of time. I didn't quit sucking on my pacifier until I was 8, this is a very extreme example of course but my mom let me keep sucking on it because she couldn't handle the screaming and crying due to childhood trauma. My mother now has to pay an up words of $10,00 possibly more to get braces and fix my teeth. You can do what you want with this information but please do not let your child suck on a pacifier or thumb to such an extreme that this happens. I've struggled with self esteem issues and bullying because of my teeth. I couldn't snap a pic in time but the side looks even worse.
