Acid reflux in babies.

Does anyone have a baby w acid reflux? How did you know they have it? I've researched it online and it basically says they don't do anything for it anyway but I think my one month old has it. He spits up every single time I lay him flat but it doesn't come out of his mouth. It's like he's choking on something in his throat. He cries literally ALL. DAY. LONG. every time he burps he cries more. He's breastfed and about half the times that he eats he cries while he's eating and pushes away from me and curls up his legs like he's in pain but then when I do take him off he cries more and wants back on.  I've tried gripe water and it does nothing. He won't take a pacifier. Ugh I'm dying here and if anyone had some advice that would be awesome.
