Muslims/Terrorists

I want to know why is that when countries like France & Belgium suffer from terrorists attacks by ISIS the entire world comes to a complete standstill, offering minutes of silence and lighting up landmarks with the country's flag. The media goes to associate every Muslim with terrorism and we have to renounce the behaviours. But when places like Turkey & Bangladesh are targeted (mind you, they're Muslim countries and the victims are Muslims so ISIS kills anyone including Muslims, which is another entire topic in itself) there is only a brief coverage of the tragedy and the world carries on as normal. No silence, no landmarks being lit, no Facebook filters etc etc. Is it only the lives of Western people deemed valuable? When victims are muslim, it doesn't matter? It makes me sad that we give priority to Western lives lost when in fact everyone is suffering the same way. Why can't we come to realise that ISIS does not represent Islam. Just the way the KKK doesn't represent Christianity. As a Muslim, I'm fed up of having to constantly defend my religion and refuse to accept that ISIS represent my religion.
