I wanted a natural child birth but after 50 hours of labor that didn't change the cervix even after my water broke, I decided to get the epidural. Apparently my body was fighting the contractions and after I could relax and rest I progressed to pushing with the assistance of  low dose of pitocin in abou 8 hours. Maybe 10 minutes of pushing and my little Hiro Leoric was into the world!
