Has anyone else got a uti since pregnant?

I went to urgent care and I have a uti! 😩 they are giving me pills to take but I am scared! I hope everything is okay with our baby! Anyone else have or has gotten a uti while pregnant???

Yep I did! They gave me Keflex, I believe that's how you spell it! They wouldn't prescribe anything that could harm the baby :) I was scared to take them at first too but it's important to finish them or else the infection can just get worse and spread to your kidneys & that is no fun!

Yup. Had one a couple weeks ago. Antibiotics did the trick, it was a doozy. Not fun

I've been told it's actually pretty common unfortunately, just important to get it checked out right away if you start having symptoms

I did with my daughter and this one because I'm bad at emptying my bladder. Haha. Anyways the pills they give you are safe and baby will be fine as long as you take the meds so it doesn't go to your kidneys. :) good luck!

I never get UTIs but I managed to get one at the end of my 2ww. I thought I was out that month for sure but the doctor gave me a prescription that was safe in case I was pregnant. It was a low dose so I had to take it for 7 days. I'm 15 weeks now and no issues!
