Do I love him?

I've been with this guy for roughly six months and had a crush on him for a year and a half before that. He says he loves me and I completely believe him, he shows it in so many ways. He's charming, hilarious, so so generous and exactly the kind of guy that I like, but I can't tell if I'm in love with him or not. I tell him that I am, because sometimes I feel like I am. I have moments that I just never want to let go. But sometimes when we're texting or not together for a few days, I feel kind of annoyed and that I don't love him. I don't know what to do? 😭
