Hormonal Acne

Pa

Good Morning beautiful people,

So I want to talk about acne. I have never in my life even as a teen had issues with acne. Now, well into my 20's almost 30's I'm struggling to get my face to clear up. I was on hormonal BC for 12 years and stopped taking it within the last 6 months. I have since developed these tiny hard skin colored bumps on my forehead, chin, and side of my face along the hairline. Some of them turn into full blown pimples, with a white head and everything. I hate it. I knew getting off the pill would send my body into a tailwind, but I never imagined the acne would get this bad. I have oily skin so I wash my face twice daily. I have tried alcohol wipes, apple cider vinegar, acne toner that I purchased from Wal-Mart (burns my face and turns it bright red). I used to lay in the sun, but I've stopped. I used to use coconut oil on my face (used to be dry while on BC), but I've stopped that too. I don't understand why nothing is working. It's frustrating bc I used to have baby soft skin and now I'm embarrassed. I'm not vain at all. I barely wear makeup. I think the more natural the better (for me), but it's killing my self esteem. It's hard to explain. Has anyone else experienced this and what helped you?

Please no negatively/judging, thanks!
