Birth control options

Currently my fiancé and I are only using condoms but I don't trust them enough to prevent another pregnancy. Before I was pregnant, I was on the shot for two years, and since doctors only recommend having the shot for that long, I switched to the nuva ring (I hated it). What are birth controls that don't include a lot of hormones? I would do the shot again but it made me very emotional.
