Sex !!!!!

I grew up hearing about how sex is such a big deal & it's a big responsibility & it'll change you & so many other things like that but when I lost my virginity, it honestly didn't feel like a big deal. I mean, it was in a way but I didn't feel different. I felt the exact same, just closer to my boyfriend. I was more than ready & I didn't even question it when it happened & we're still together (8 months tomorrow, lost it before our 2 month). Am I just crazy? I feel like society over emphasizes how important your virginity is. I've had this talk with some friends of mine who have also lost their virginity and they've said the same thing. I wanna know everyone's opinions!!!!
