Pro-life/pro-choice etiquette

Alice
I'm posting this because I'm frankly appalled at some of the comments I see on here attacking young women for their choices and/or pushing agendas. So here are a few guidelines I would suggest to anyone before posting or commenting on a post which deals with this issue:
1. There is an abortion support room specifically for abortion and "options" questions, use it.
2. Women who are pro-life &/or have no experience with the abortion topic should NEVER respond to a post about "options" or a post in the abortion support room.
3. Unless the original post specifically mentions it, or you are making a genuine offer to adopt the baby yourself, NEVER push the adoption option.
4. Unless the original post specifically references religion, a comment should NEVER contain religious statements.
5. A comment should NEVER contain any judgemental language which targets the original poster or another commenter. Use the "in her shoes" principle, if you wouldn't want it said to you don't say it to others.
6. If you know that posts about "options" are a trigger for you, don't read them, and most importantly don't comment on them.
This community can either be a place to build each other up, or tear each other down, we each choose the community that we create.
Any further suggestions on guiding principles? These are merely one person's ideas after all...
