Can being hospitalized cause a period to not happen?

So this last week, I got extremely dehydrated and I passed out. When I passed out I hit my head on my kitchen table. I also have a condition called Arnold chiari malformation so they kept me to run test and for observation for 4 1/2 days in icu. Could this cause my period to be delayed. In almost positive if I was pregnant they would have told me, right? Im a week late but I don't think Im pregnant..

First of all ask the doctor silly. Second, Mark sklar a doctor on YouTube for fertility says that when your body goes through a huge amount of stress, in your situation passing out, your body makes repoductive stuff it's last priority so it starts pulling blood from there to makes sure the more important organs get enough blood.
