It really isn't about big things. It is about showing him everyday that you love, respect and appreciate him. Take time for just the two of you, say thank you for the things he does for you/your family/your home, cook his favorite dinner. My husband and I never exchange extravagant gifts, but everyday we are thankful for each other and do things just to make the other happy. Small things that make a big difference.

To us its really special to say I love you because we never told anyone else ( he didnt even said that to his parents but he has his reasons) and its just a little thing that makes me happy when he comes around saying "oh hey you go sit down I can do that" whatever I'm doing or when he just smiles from ear to ear and kisses me. I love you really is such a strong sentence with so much meaning and we both know we really mean it with all our heart so its just great.
