His girl ' friend '

Anyone else get super protective when your so hangs with a girl mate of his. For some reason this one girl that my boyfriend of 3 years is friends with I really don't like. She's recently split up with her boyfriend and so my boyfriend is trying to cheer her up or whatever but I don't like how. He's been messaging her like " come to town next week and I'll cheer you up" and calling her hunny at one point. I don't like it at all :/ but if I bring it up he just says the same thing like " she's been my friend for years" but I know 1000% that if it was the other way round and I was saying that to a guy mate he'd go crazy. It's like I can't win and I don't know what to do
