You can be attracted to other people it doesn't mean you don't love who you are with. There's no way you go through life never noticing someone is attractive just because you are in a relationship. If it's all you think about then you should find someone else but the occasional thought while masturbating isn't wrong.  Maybe I see it different because I'm polyamorous but feelings are feelings and you can't stop them sometimes.

I'm not supposed to know this but my BF lately has thought about his exes (from 5-10 years ago) when he's masturbated. He's not happy about it and thinks it's to do with his E/dysfunction issue. He used to get hard easily when younger and at the time wanked over them whilst dating, so possibly an old habit. Knowing he doesn't like it is helping me not feel too worried. I believe he doesn't have leftover emotions for them.
My last BF who didn't have any E/dysfunction issues openly admitted to masturbating over previous girls he'd dated by not had sex with. That upset me a lot. Like they were missed opportunities. I guess it's not uncommon for guys to do this... It feels confusing because it's all in their heads. And I guess guys need to imagine variety.
I don't think of past f*cks or dicks myself, even the best ones.
