Food ideas for a baby shower??

I need help with food ideas for a baby shower! I feel like I should know what to make but I'm totally clueless. We're expecting about 120 folks. Entirely too many but nothing our family ever does could ever be a small event... Ever 🙄. Anywho, I need suggestions on what to make that'll also be cost effective for that many ppl.

Dishes with pasta !!! Boxes of pasta are usually always on sale at stores. And if they aren't , there's brands that are like 2$ a box. 
And you can have so many different sauces. 
Add sliced chicken, ground beef, shrimp , veggies, sausage. Etc !

At my shower I had greens, mac n cheese, fried chicken, jerk chicken over rice, cabbage, meatballs, pasta salad, potato salad.

We had a slow cooker full of taco meat and then laid out taco shells and tortilla chips with all the things you would put on tacos. It was a huge hit!

I plan on having one of the local BBQ places cater mine but we are inviting whole families (men, women, kids) as we want them all to be apart of celebrating our little boy so BBQ just works better for a mass of different ppl.

I wondered for a long time as well when time came I didn't have a big budget so I just went with hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and my homemade potato salad. And had a little cookout was nice honealty I don't care if anyone thought something about it cause at the end of the day I ate about three burgers and stuff my face I was completely satisfied lol

If it's in your budget, get a taco man. I'm expecting roughly 80-100 people, and that was honestly my best option. A taco man has and will save my life Lol

We always do big events too.and Italian food goes far feeds a lot of people. Spaghetti,chicken Alfredo, garlic bread salad. The other food we do is sandwiches, potato salad,chips. These seem to be the foods that go far and are cost-efficient😊hope this helps!

That depends on when you're having the baby shower. If it's during the summer and anyone you know has a Costco or Sam's Club membership a BBQ can be done relatively easy/cheap, if it's during the colder seasons they have trays of pasta and things you can buy and all you have to do is bake them in the oven. Finger foods can be a good option for that many people as long as you have a variety of them, like finger sandwiches, mini quiche, fruit salad, different types of salad (pasta, potato, etc).
