Abusive relationship??

My Bestfriend is in an abusive relationship with a guy 8 years older than her. She's 19. I've done everything I can to advise her and protect her and basically help her see she needs to leave him and that she deserves better. I recently found out that she lost her virginity to this guy. And now she's attached to him. It makes me so angry.  Am I wrong for losing respect for her.  I'm so angry.

I get where you're coming from, but if you're truly her friend you will not give up on her. I know it's frustrating and it makes you angry because you care for her, but just step back and be there when needed. Also, try to do positive things with her, not focus on her current situation. Go out, have fun, both of you experience the world as young women should! That may show her that there's better out there!

It's sad because a lot of women won't leave, but hopefully something will come to light and she'll leave.

You're not wrong in losing your respect in her. I know what you're talking about, I was in the same boat a year ago trying to help my best friend out. As scary as it may seem when you think of situations that you know will hurt the friendship, she'll thank you in the long run. What's best is to tell her parents, advise a couselor, or have her speak up. There's nothing wrong in seeking more help for her more then what you can do. I wish you the best of luck in any decision you turn to, to help her.
