No Sac?

Question

Yesterday the ER said ny HCG levels weren't where they should be for 5 weeks which currently are at 5888 a few days ago I git an ultrasound and they found no sac. Has anyone had abnormal HCG levels and had a normal pregnancy? Also had anyone else had no sac found at or around 5 weeks?

Not sure why they told you those numbers are not good that number is great for 5 weeks and not seeing a SAC at 5 weeks is Not Unusual you're not going to see much until around 6 weeks anyways my doctor never gives an ultrasound before then because of that exact reason in fact I think my number was a little lower than you are 5 weeks and my fertility specialist thought my number was wonderful so while the doctors in the ER can be great A lot of times they tend to do more harm than good dealing with a newly pregnant woman as in your situation sounds like all they did was scare you make an appointment with an OBGYN and I'm sure they will tell you the same thing I have 5 weeks too early to see anything and that HCG number is good please try not to stress and let me know if I can answer any questions but this is baby number 4 for me and I promise you that number is not bad by any means

When i had mc, i also went to ER and they said the same thing. And i ended up having a mc. :( 
A month later i was pregnant again and my little peanut showed up on US at 4w5d and they could see sack with a yolk in it.
I will keep my fingers crossed for you that you still are pregnant! But if not, take time to grieve. Then once you are ready, try again and it will happen when its the right time. Good luck!!

If you are only 5 weeks it's normal not tons we sac or baby yet. Give it another 2 weeks and have another ultrasound baby and sac should show up then. 5888 isn't a bad number for 5 weeks either as long as it is still rising and you are aren't having severe cramping or bleeding should be ok.

Mild spotting can be normal as well as mild cramping. As long as not bright red or heavy and not severe cramping. A lot of it is just baby getting comfy.

It is possible to have an ectopic pregnancy and have no sac though and spot with cramping.  But they should be checking your tubes for that to rule it out.
