Anyone else?

Does anyone else feel like I do? I am 2 weeks PP, I smell all of the time, even if I just showered. All I smell is BO and blood, my skin is crawling and itchy. I'm restless and grumpy. I want to go do something to get out of the house but the baby is too small and gets overheated very easily. It's too hot in this Texas summer.

You are not alone!  I felt the exact same way early on!  I always smelled terrible and I bled for 5 LONG weeks and had a lot of discharge also.  I can promise you it gets SO much better!  I'm almost 8 weeks PP and starting to feel like a normal person again.  No bleeding, I finally smell good again and I'm getting more rest as baby is sleeping 6-7 hours at night.  Unfortunately you just have to coast through those first few weeks.  They seem like a haze when I look back now.

My son is 2 1/2 months. I didn't leave the house for almost 4 weeks. I slumped around in shorts, and a sports bra. I didn't even go outside to get the mail.. I showered maybe every 3 days because i was more worried about my son. Ibthink it's normal to not feel like you're in your own skin. It just takes a while to re-adjust.

Yes lol ! My exact feelings. I do take my daughter out though. I'd become depressed if I didn't. I go to my moms , and to Walmart... Can't wait for cooler weather really wanting to get out for walks.

Yup . I remember when I had my second, I felt stinky all the time and no matter how much I showered, it didn't seem to help. I smelled like rotting flesh! But, it's normal and your body is still healing. I was torn down there pretty badly and that's why I felt like I smelled bad all the time. My fiancé told me he couldn't smell anything though. It's tough. But I had my daughter during a Canadian winter so I didn't want to leave the house - just because it was -30C most of the time and I hated bundling us all up just to go to the car.
