Need to get my hips in check!

My family passes on this gene to everybody in the family! We all have big butts and hips with an abnormally sized waist. An 'hour glass shape' if you will. But my body is different! I have no boobs (which, okay whatever. Idc because I have padded bras) but My hips look like I always have a muffin top rather than just leading the way to my butt. And I've always been self conscious about it! They always make me look like I have two butts. When I wear a bathing suit it looks like the bottoms are too small and squeezing me but that's just how my hips are!! 
What exercises can I do to make it look like I don't have a muffin top or two butts?! I've embraced the family gene but my hips are completely different!
